Safe & Bully-Free Schools: Prevent Bullying Banner

One of the most popular ways of teaching about bullying is by putting on skits. If you do this, include the roles of the bully, victims, bystanders, and adults. Consider having older students from another school come in to play the parts. Have them act out different bullying scenarios and show the correct response from everyone in each. Also explain the difference between bullying and an argument among equals. Once your students have watched the skits, ask them to sign the “Bullying—Take A Stand, Lend A Hand” Banner. Then give out “Bullying—Take A Stand, Lend A Hand” Buttons as a reminder.

2011 Bully Prevention Best Practices Contest

Positive Promotions is excited to announce its first annual Bully Prevention Best Practices Contest. We will award cash prizes for the best and most creative Bully Prevention Activities. Our Grand Prize is $300, Second Prize is $200, and Third Prize is $100.

To enter, prepare a detailed description of your Bully Prevention activities and how you used Positive Promotions products in your effort. Special stories of how your event or our products made an impact on your students, your staff and your community are most welcome. Submissions can include photos, scrapbooks, videos and/or samples of students’ activities. Entries will be judged on originality, quality and creative use of our products.
